Russ and Calvin were great. Recently I had Russ mount a cartridge on my table. It was a more delicate cartridge and a unipivot arm. Anyone with any knowledge of unipivot arms knows that they can be difficult to work with so I didn’t want to do this myself. Russ did great work and got everything set up and ready to go. I also spent a bit of time looking around at the products he had for sale a let me say it’s all killer and no filler. If your are looking for a turntable or receiver or anything HiFi related I’d contact Russ. I would highly recommend HiFi haus for your HiFi needs.

I brought my old record player in and they were able to squeeze me in right at closing time as I was rushing after work. Russ and Calvin worked together for 45 minutes to solder my wires back together in my needle and put a new stylus on.

Russell is a helluva guy...kind, patient and SUPER thorough. He did great work on my 70s Rega turntable; it's never looked or sounded better. Very reasonable and flexible when giving options for repair/service; he'll make sure you get exactly what you need, offer options you didn't know you had, but also won't push you to spring for costly extras you may not want (or can't afford). Very good at making the best out of whatever budget you're working with.

I’m sitting on my sofa, listening to Elton John through a brilliant pair of speakers that Russell helped me to find. He didn’t sell me. That’s not how he works. He introduced me to what I always wanted. He spent time, swapped stories, and even charmed my 13 year old daughter to the point she said “he would be a great uncle. You need to be friends with him.” I don’t gush about buying stuff. But this was a unique and incredible experience. He helped me find these speakers that I already adore, a turntable that is just incredible, and he made it feel like an experience of a good friend helping you, not a salesman making a sale. Spend your money with this man. He is unique and special.

What an amazing experience! My wife and I made a same appointment to talk to Russell about repairing our old 1970's Dual Turntable. After much consideration and a great listening session in Russell's demo room, we were convinced to trade our old turntable in towards this Beautiful SOTA turntable that is made in Wisconsin. Russell was knowledgeable and gave us confidence in our purchase. In these difficult times I always recommend supporting local businesses, but the HiFi Haus gets bonus points for selling such excellent products at fair prices.

We were looking to get a turntable but didn’t really know where to start. Calvin and Russ made sure we were in good hands and took so much care in explaining all the options and how to hook things up where they needed to. They even have our go to record to test out for the audio! We will definitely be going back for any turntable/speaker needs.
